The Metonger Village Students’ Union, established on 30th January 1975, is a longstanding student organization committed to the growth and empowerment of its members. Founded with the motto “Bloom to Glow,” the Union redefined its vision in 2016 under the leadership of President Shri Vikhianthog and General Secretary Shri R.C. Limtimong, adopting the forward-looking motto “Excel Beyond Horizon.”
Marking a significant milestone, the Union celebrated its Golden Jubilee from 3rd to 5th February 2025, reflecting on five decades of dedication, progress, and community impact. Over the years, members of the Union have consistently demonstrated excellence across academics, competitive examinations, sports, arts, and music, achieving recognition at state, national, and international levels.
The Union remains actively engaged in advancing the welfare and development of students from the village, fostering leadership, discipline, and holistic growth. This profile was officially updated on 28th March 2026 by the current General Secretary, Tsumongthong.
