Aloto Naga

Aloto Naga (born 14 January 1994) is an Indian journalist and digital media entrepreneur from Nagaland. He is the founder of the Nagaland Me ecosystem, a network of ten platforms spanning news, artificial intelligence, education, language preservation, and community services. He is also the creator of Aloto Naga TV, a digital news platform delivering content in the Nagamese language.

He began his digital journey in 2017 by building YouTube channels and online platforms centred on regional content. What started as content creation gradually grew into a structured digital ecosystem, one designed to widen access to information, document local knowledge, and strengthen community engagement across Nagaland.

Early Digital Career

Aloto Naga started out in 2017, creating several YouTube channels and testing different forms of regional content. Those early years gave him hands-on experience in content creation, audience growth, and digital media strategy.

Some of these first channels are no longer active, but each one shaped his understanding of how online platforms work and how audiences engage with regional media.

YouTube Growth and Recognition

His YouTube work steadily gained momentum. In 2019 he earned his first Silver Creator Award for the channel “Aloto Naga,” a milestone that reflected a growing regional audience.

Two years later, following the launch of Aloto Naga TV, he received a second Silver Creator Award, confirming the continued reach of his content. Today the channel has surpassed 500,000 subscribers, making it one of the most-followed independent media channels from Nagaland.

He also turned that reach toward social causes, raising close to ₹20 lakh to help individuals afford medical treatment during and after the COVID-19 period.

Launched on 1 June 2021, Aloto Naga TV is a YouTube-based news platform that delivers its content in the Nagamese language.

It concentrates on regional news, public updates, and community information, making everyday news more accessible and relatable for local audiences, an approach that helped the channel grow past half a million subscribers.

Aloto Naga is the founder of Nagaland Me, a digital ecosystem of ten interconnected platforms spanning media, artificial intelligence, education, language preservation, and community services.
